
What is the Permanently Disabled Absentee Voting List?
The Permanently Disabled Absentee Voting List is a list maintained by the County Clerk for each county in the State of Missouri. Missouri law mandates that registered voters with a permanent disability must be given the opportunity to join the Permanently Disabled Voting List so that they may vote at home by absentee ballot for every election.
How Can I Join the Permanently Disabled Absentee Voting List?
Missouri law says that if you are a person with incapacity or confinement due to illness or physical disability you can join the Permanently Disabled Absentee Voting List simply by notifying your local election authority's Office and asking to be placed on the Permanently Disabled Absentee Voting List.

Print the form, fill out the form, sign it, and mail to your local County Clerk’s office.

How Long Will I Be On The Permanently Disabled Absentee Voting List?
You will remain on the permanently disabled absentee voting list until you:
- Ask to be removed from the list;
- Become disqualified from voting;
- No longer reside at the address of your voter registration; or
- Upon death.
